Blog Maintenance and Dedicated Host (Updated)

This evening, we'll be moving the blog to a new, dedicated host.

Part of this will be a change in the IP address that blog.mises.org points at. DNS may take a few hours to fully propagate, so it is possible that you will be connected to the old host.

In order to avoid comments and entries not being the same on the new system, we will be disabling comments on the current (old) system.

Once DNS has updated, and you are connected to the correct system, comments will be available as well.

If you do not get directed to the new host by approximately 9:00 PM Eastern Time, you may want to try restarting your web browser.

Update: the migration is done, and comments have been re-enabled. If you are seeing this message, you are on the correct system.

The Mises Blog will be unavailable this evening (Friday, September 29), from 9:30 PM Eastern until approximately 11:45 PM Eastern.

Some fun stats that were pulled out of the database for the blog:

38065 total comments visible,
5513 unique email addresses

66 have greater than 100 comments (by and large much greater, topping out at 1391)

This is on 5249 posts.
Well, 5250 now.
