  Every Christmas, I pick out a book, then purchase a box of them for gifts for everyone on my list. Not ten minutes ago, I was wondering what this year's book should be.

  My favorite also is Farmer Boy. This story beautifully portrays the division-of-labor tapestry that works so well--making everyone happier and better off--when there is no government to muck things up! Farmer Boy is a true story, and it is true that government is unrelevant (as brian sheeran says)!

  I read Laura's books when I was thirty-five following my young daughter's lead. It is now twenty years later and I am going to enjoy them again with more mature eyes.

  I had finished reading Michigan's history by George May, but the eye witness accounts of a girl without an agenda will be refreshing.
