Geez...next time I decide to buy something from the Mises store I am going to wait. This is the second time in a row that I've bought books and a few days later the price is lowered, lol. (I bought the new print of Hayek's Prices and Production a few months ago, and then literally two days ago I bought Mises' Human Action and his Socialism book. I thought I got a deal on Human Action, too.)

Whilst I would have loved to have purchased my copy from the Institute, I am a man on a budget and as such I was thrilled to find a gently used copy at Half-Priced Crooks for a cool sieben thalers.
I've also bought four copies of "Economics in One Lesson" there. I lend them out and never expect to see them again.
While their shelves are mostly populated by works by Minnesota Tom Lexus Tree, Shill Krugman, and J.K.G., I'd like to think that there's so rarely any Austrian scholarship because they fly off the shelves as soon as they come in or because people wouldn't dream of parting ways with their beloved Austrian tomes.

Robert Brager,
I was lucky enough to grab a copy of Economics in One Lesson from the local used book store, but that is the extent of Austrian Scholarship that I have seen at any of the nearby book stores. I think you are right. No one gets rid of their good books. Maybe I need to start going to estate sales. Lots of heirs have no idea of what treasures their recently departed left behind. Subjective value in this case might help the poor aspiring student of economics score a sweet deal or two.
