The Doctors Frankenstein Open Their Eyes

November 3, 2008 9:55 PM by Jim Fedako (Archive)

A remorseful Dr. Frankenstein speaking to Captain Walton about the monster he (Frankenstein) created and unleashed, "You seek for unlimited power, as I once did; and I ardently hope that the gratification of your wishes may not be a serpent to sting you, as mine has been." (quote from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, paraphrased)

It's election eve and Hannity and the other Republican talking heads have finally awakened to the outstretched arms of monster they created - the imperial president qua emperor.

Ironically, it was not that many months ago that Hannity and others cheered the increased power being consolidated in the White House. Now that monster is about to turn on them.

Note: I also fear the beast, no matter which brain was used.

If we're going to ditch any pretense of a republic in favor of full-blown democracy, one where 51% can tell the other 49% where to go, I say, "Let's not go half-way." To paraphrase Mencken, the common people deserve to get it good and hard.

Time to usher in equalitarianism in its full glory. Bring on Obama and his shock troops! Get it over with. It hasn't worked anywhere else, but the sheeple are bound and determined to try it here.

And don't confuse people with another faux Republican and a clueless opposition Congress. Give the people a really good taste for the wonders of central planning with a democratic president and a veto-proof democratic Congress.

From the wreckage, maybe we'll discover what made this country great. I'm not holding my breath, mind you, but I'd rather go off the cliff in a blaze of glory than endure a slow, inexorable fall into obscurity, with our liberties taken away bit by bit.

I am conducting a poll through election night to measure voters' conscience votes versus their actual planned votes.

This is part of some research I am doing during this election cycle. The results have been surprising thus far. Add your voice to the poll and tell your friends, as I am hoping to gather as many responses by tomorrow night as possible.

Well let's hope you count votes better than you count submit button clicks.

That poll is bogus -- there's no slot for "none". It requires a choice from it's limited selections...

  • Bill, Unwilling Goldman Sachs Servant.

The monster Hannity and his ilk made is only the show as is the monster Oprah made. The only brains that matter are the ones at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and the like.

    Lets see why:
    1. Finance companies are the largest donators to both parties.
    2. Goldman Sachs has operatives at all levels of government.
    3. Warren Buffet can not buy his way into Goldman. He can give them a loan for future stock. I give it zero chance that the Fed will not print money and give it to Goldman to pay Buffet back just before he can execute his warrants.

The monster is afraid of fire!

The monster (the unConstitutional coup and its minions) think that the wildfire has been quelled but the combustible litter is thick and dry and the winds are coming.

The dutiful main stream media did what it could to suppress the fire but there are embers and sparks everywhere!

With the dollar bubble about to burst there will be hurricane force winds to fan the flames of the principles of classical liberalism.
