Interview with Robert Higgs
This interview with Robert Higgs--the leading scholar in the area of crisis and government expansion--conducted about 2 hours ago lasts about 25 minutes. He offers a range of interesting perspectives on how government took a relatively small-scale problem and worked to turn it into a calamity. He draws parallels between today and the early 1930s. His outlook on the future is probably not what you want to hear.

What I want to hear is the unvarnished truth. Nothing from government or the mainstream media can be trusted, at all.
Why do so many people (who don't know about Mises.org etc) watch The Daily Show and Colbert Report for their "news"? Because behind the humor are simple facts.
About the only thing most people use their local news for is weather.

LvM Institute should turn these interviews into a regular podcast. I doubt there is any scarity of Austrian thinkers that can be interviewed regularly and I'm certain there would be an interested audience. Who knows? Maybe it could rival Tom Keene's Bloomberg podcast for current thoughts on economic events.
I know you would have at least one serial itunes subscriber. I hope LvM Institute does this.

We have regular pods of all our programs, as you probably know. For now, they will be connected to news and important events and things, depending on time etc.

Ryan,
Lewrockwell.com already does a regular weekly podcast with famous thinkers - check here. It is an Austrian economics website, just like this one.
