Say's Catechism of Political Economy
Here is the whole of J.B. Say's wonderful Catechism of Political Economy, published in 1821. It holds up extraordinarily well, on a huge range of topics, proving yet again that Say was a great champion of the old liberal order and an excellent economist in every way, contrary to the reputation that Keynes had tried to spread to discredit his legacy. Unfortunately much of what Keynes attributed to Say was in fact more applicable to James Mill whom for me bastardised Say's Law from an identity that is true by definition to something akin to ... I don't know what.
Reading what Say actually said one gets an appreciation for just how advanced he was as an economist of his time.
