Is Russ Roberts a new convert?

Besides that the word 'convert' always makes me feel awkward, isn't Russel Roberts the guy bloging on Cafe Hayek? Hardly a *new* convert...

Russ blogs at the Cafe, but he always sounded like a monetarist.

What is your beef with the word 'convert'?

Russ is on the fence. I listen to his podcasts quite a bit, and he says he is slowly finding the Austrian perspective more persuasive everyday. I think his reluctance has more to do with the relative stability of the last 25 years or so, and while I might disagree with that logic, I think the next few years will turn him into a full convert.

The Gold Standard is dead. Long live the Gold Standard!

Think about it just a bit. The Gold Standard is how we got to where we are now. Now, what was that you were saying?
