A very nice review here. I hadn't really thought of how this book is capable of being a kind of summary statement of political views for a generation of young activists -- defining and refining.

  • it's like every article at lewrockwell rolled into a book. there should just be some kind of universal signal you can throw whnever someone says some ridiculous statist point that indicates that the answer is in ron's book. it would save alot of time and effort.

  • The Revolution: A Manifesto is a nice combination of political history, classical liberal thought, a Constitutional defense and educational encouragement.

    There is a large market of books out there that weave fictional stories around historical facts. That audience will be just as thrilled to read the blending of history and theory that Ron Paul conducts in his book.

    It is just the right size of a book to reach the greatest number. We all await its impact!

    One of the things that I'm glad Dr. Paul talks about in his book is monetary policy. When was the last time the soundness of the dollar and our money system ever made it into the presidential debates? I can't say I'm as well versed in monetary policy as I'm sure many of you around here are, but my guess is it's been awhile. And Dr. Paul's views seem even more prescient given the economy and the falling value of our dollar.
