Senator Norm Coleman, quoted in the NYTimes:

"Government is about first-class service. It is certainly not about first-class lifestyles."

    Really, Senator Coleman and the NYT?

    I was under the impression that a much more accurate and truthful description of government is that it steals and impairs the person and property of the politically less powerful to the benefit of the politically more powerful.

    This line is amazing. The senator actually said that government employees NOT taking flights that they aren't supposed to is a SAVINGS?
