  It is interesting where all the innovative examples come from. Google hosting such a town meeting is a glimpse into the way of the future. And this is one among the many examples given during the interview with Ron Paul that demonstrate that the creativity and purposeful action in a free market society provide us with positive avenues for advancement.

  Looking from that vantage point it is easy to see the sludge of socialism that mucks up the works.

  Looking from the contemporary vantage point (in a hampered economy) it is like a breath of fresh air to hear about the possibilities and to see them emerging in the firms of commerce that are not beholden to the political power structure.

  I'm just glad to see an entire hour where Dr. Paul isn't interrupted, or marginalized as a "nut," by someone with an agenda (the agenda usually being to spend someone else's money).

  Thanks for posting. I'd also like to see a Canadian devotee run on a Libertarian platform.

  I think his economics are tact on, but I do not think he would successfully run the United States. Rudy Giuliani is the closest major candidate I can think of relating to Ron Paul's economic philosophy, and yet also maintaining what I would discern as the proper contemporaneousness campaign scheme for America's top priorities.

  Ashton? Ron Paul believes that the Constitution imposes a strict limit on the power of the executive. Rudy Ghouliani believes there is no legal or natural limit on the proper powers of the presidency. The only economics Ghouliani has ever understood are his prosecutor’s fees for framing anyone who threatens the status quo. His persecution of Michael Milken is notorious.

  In Ron Paul’s favor, he never persecuted anyone. And wouldn’t it be nice to have somebody who didn’t feel the need to run everything?
