Hazlitt's Book on Inflation
After World War Two, the most prominent fighter against inflation was an economic journalist named Henry Hazlitt. He was a student of Mises's, and not a monetarist but an Austrian. And his writings where everywhere: Newsweek, Reader's Digest, newspapers of all sorts, and his monographs were too. He called not for stabilization but a complete end to the paper dollar and central banking.

This is the first time I have read this- a very thorough discussion.
One thing that did catch my eye was the mention of a Federal Reserve governor, from the fifties I think, named Allan Sproul. I was wondering if there were any relation to our own frequent commenter, Mike Sproul.
