And to think that Mises.org makes Human Action available in 4 different formats, 3 editions, and several languages--and at no charge. Well, I guess we can always do better but...well, here's one hint: a wider screen can help, and so can an upgrade of Adobe. Mises.org is centered at 800 px, which is pretty narrow by today's standards.

Don Robertson, have you tried the html version? I prefer it because I find it to be far more navigable, and I'm guessing it won't have those scrolling issues that you mention.

That "jerkiness" is just the single page option, change it to continuous and it scrolls like a dream. The options for that are in the lower right hand corner of the Acrobat Reader. As far as losing place, haven't had any problem with that either, I just minimize when I'm done reading, instead of closing Acrobat out. Actually, I have up to 5 or 6 books up at once, with no problems. Funny how when stuff is free people still complain.

    Jeffrey,

No, you may not be perfect, but I love what you're doing. It's why I donate a portion of my meager income to you you good folks at Auburn every year.

    Take care.

If one is truly interested in actually reading HUMAN ACTION, the solution is to invest the money in buying the Scholar's Edition. No one who has done so has ever looked back and, in retrospect, wished they had not made the purchase.

I had read a couple of other books by Garrett, but not this one. I really enjoyed its perspective and want to thank the Mises Institute for making it possible for me to read it. Just reading the platform upon which FDR ran was enough to convince me that voting is not even remotely the answer.
