The wage gap the feds never try to solve
"Here’s an easy way to double your salary: Go to work for the U.S. government." That's right, government employees receive an average compensation twice that of the average private-sector employee. Don't hold your breath for the commission to investigate this wage gap.

Ohhh Henry
"And the pay gap has been increasing, with average federal compensation rising from 51 percent higher than private compensation in 1990 to 100 percent higher in 2005. Federal workers, Edwards charged, have become “an elite island separate from the rest of us."
The same thing is happening with the salaries of Canadian federal employees compared to private-sector employees. Although they are referred to as our "civil servants", in fact the opposite is true and we are their servants. Well, technically we're their slaves, since we are forced at gunpoint to pay their exorbitant salaries.
In Canada practically nobody wants their child to be a successful businessperson or private-sector professional. They all want them to get a government job.

I dugg the story this blog links to.
It makes a person sick when they realize that it's your tax dollars paying for that, and for the most part, the only thing they use it for is hurting us.
