Support The Mises Institute

The effort to raise funds for the Mises Institute via your everyday search habits started off with a bang with almost 2,000 searches raising cash for LVMI in June.

Then, things began to slide.

I just want to remind everyone that it is possible to raise money for the Mises Institute with every use of a search engine.

Use GoodSearch.com and show your support.

If 1,000 supporters search just twice a day we will have raised $7,300 in one calendar year.

If 10,000 supporters search twice a day we will have raised $73,000 in one year.

create a firefox extension that lets me search with this engine inside firefox and i will use it. Or at least give instructions for how people can add it to their search box.

Thanks for reminding us of that. I'd actually forgotten all about it!

Jeff, I have GoodSearch in my FireFox search-box. However, when you search with it using the search-box, does it remember what charity you're supporting?

Just checked. Once you go to GoodSearch.com and specify the non-profit you're supporting, it'll be remembered when you do a GoodSearch from the Mozilla FireFox search-box.

The FireFox search bar will remember your selection if you keep cookies between browser sessions.

If you always erase cookies for security and privacy reasons (as I always do), this information is deleted, and you will have to reselect LVMI at the GoodSearch.com site in your next browser session.

For me, this proves to be too inconvenient. A better solution is needed.

So, can't you only keep the GoodSearch cookie permanently?

[If not, get a better browser!]
