The Harry Browne Memorial Scholarship Fund

March 6, 2006 12:48 PM by Mises.org Updates (Archive)

Harry Browne (1933-2006) was a prolific author in defense of liberty, a learned intellectual voice for freedom and hard money, a courageous opponent of the warfare state, and a compelling public speaker who defended libertarian causes in the face of all opposition.

His influence was decisive in drawing several generations to the ideas and literature of liberty, and his writings continue to inspire.

The Harry Browne Memorial Scholarship Fund, for which the Mises Institute has already been granted some seed money, is devoted to preserving his legacy by assisting students who attend programs at the Mises Institute. To contribute, go to Mises.org/harrybrowne
