This heartwarming story should be an eye-opener for most modern people, who assume that nothing in the way of health care or relief of the poor could possibly take place without the intervention of government. And you don't even have to read between the lines to see that the poverty didn't just "happen" but was caused by government:
This is also something to chew on for those Jew-haters who insist that it is always Jews who get rich while everyone else gets poor.
