"Road to Serfdom" Available in PDF
The Atlas Foundation has made available a PDF of the condensed (Readers' Digest) version of Hayek's The Road To Serfdom, with an introduction by John Blundell. The book is a classic critique of the political dangers inherent in economic central planning. There are a number of insightful quotes in the summary section on page 27, of which my favorite is: "The more the state ‘plans’ the more difficult planning becomes for the individual."
The Library of Economics and Liberty has made available a PDF of Mises Socialism.

Actually, have't read it yet, but quite intersted in Hayek's idea.

Along with this article, I suggest reading Stephen Baskerville's "Welfare and the 'Road to Serfdom'" at http://www.ipi.org/ipi/IPIPublications.nsf/PublicationLookupFullText/E2A78BF98EDE3E33862572FB00696FED
