Connecting the dots
As some of you remember, back in late last year, there was a great fuss from certain people about how important it was for the "pro-freedom" candidate Victor Yushchenko to win the Ukrainian election. However, it turned out that Yushchenko was more interested in socialism than freedom.
Not coincidentally, growth have now slumped to a mere 1.1% in Ukraine, down from the double digit levels reached last year.

Most of the negative text in the article seems to be about PM Tymoschenko, not Pres. Yuschkenko.

That's extremely disappointing to me, as I am one of those people who thought Yushchenko would be good (er, "better") for Ukraine.
If his policies are leading to this downturn, I am deeply saddened.
