It looks like we went through similar experiences, although I only met Murray when he went west for a visit. My education, though, came through reading MES in photocopy and, beginning with Rand, I became active in libertarian circles on the West Coast with LeFevre and Galambos, and a number of other hard-core types.

I laughed at "To Joseph Salerno, leader of the Lower Ten Percent, we leave a pair of binoculars with which to look down upon your fellow man." It sounds like there were pretty fun interactions between students and faculty.
