ASSC Report
The Austrian Student Scholars Conference, November 5-6 at Grove City College, was a great success. We had 30 paper presenters. About 80 people attended the two sessions in each of the Saturday time slots. For the keynote lectures, the crowd overflowed Sticht Lecture Hall, which seats 200 or so, into the adjacent classrooms.
The students seemed very appreciative and aware of the significance of the event. They seemed to be networking and interested in each others' work. And they were excited about the prospect of another conference next year. We successfully web-streamed the keynote lectures and made MP3 audio files and video tapes of them. We plan to host the conference again next year. Thank you to all who helped to make this possible.
