Sweet. Mr. Jacobs is a knowledgeable champion of free markets; it’s good to see that he’s coming over the ropes to help the Mises Institute in its grudge match against bureaucracy.

From what I’ve read he’s a bright man.

This is pretty awesome. Is he coming to Mises U?

Good for Kane! It’s more important to not sit on the fence than to be on the ropes – and to his credit, he landed on the right side of the fence. My son likes him now and will appreciate him even more when my son is older.

Some say they want government so small they can sink it in a bath tub. I just want to see Kane put government in a chokehold and finally get rid of it, once and for all!

XD

He makes Man, Economy and State look about the size of Go Dog Go.

Here is his website and blog.

Are those his kids in some of the photos?

Good grief! How tall is he?

cshirk May 5, 2009 at 6:05 pm

He’s 6’10″ (2.08m) tall. Huge guy. Didn’t know he was a big free-market guy, though. Pretty cool, learn something new every day.

I’d always heard that pro-rasslers were smarter than commonly believed…but damn. Freakin Kane comes and pays the Mises Institute a visit?

Kinda makes me more optimistic for mankind. ya never know where support will come from.

What did Kane buy?

Was a big fan of him growing up and now im an even bigger fan!!!

He is extremely nice, self effacing with a gentle demeanor. He is also extremely smart, reads everything and has an excellent grasp of economics and politics. He has gone through the entire Home Study Course, and finished it in 6 weeks. He has listened to the entire set of Gordon’s philosophy course and never misses a podcast.

Not sure what books he bought.

Was that Mark Thornton about halfway through? How tall is he?

Awesom to see Glenn Jacobs—better known as WWE wrestler “Kane”―at the Mises Institute. He is a Free State Project member, creator of the blogsite Adventures of Citizen X and was a speaker at the 2009 New Hampshire Liberty Forum:

Why Liberty is Inevitable

“I just want to see Kane put government in a chokehold and finally get rid of it, once and for all.”

Aw, but choke holds are against the rules — better to apply the sleeper, wait for the count-out, and then spit on whatever remains of the government corpse.

Or, I suppose, Mr. Jacobs could continue to share his wisdom about liberty…

Well, he’s not a small one
