I already read this, it is great to see how even major companies in bookselling are spreading the word at this moment.

Are there any other translations? I’m interested in a Chinese translation in particular.

Wat heeft de overheid met ons geld gedaan?

It’s kinda funny how close that is to English. It’s like a guy who speaks weird:

“What hev d’ overhead wit’ us gold gedone?”

(Putting “gold” in the title, instead of money, works equally well, now that I think about it…)

The power of words.
literal translation of that would be it seems:

- What did “the authorities” do to our money.

this wording might be deliberate since the word “State” exists in Dutch (Staat)

Great to see this book translated into Dutch.

Silas Barta: there is “money” in the title, meaning “geld” in Dutch. Deriving from the good old days…

This link shows more on the connection between Dutch and English: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nederlandse_leenwoorden_in_het_Amerikaans-Engels

@ anon

The book has been translated into Finnish, with the title “Mitä valtio on tehnyt rahallemme?”. It is available online here:

As you can see: we speak the same language, more or less. I wish you could understand the seminars on the same website of that university: They are brilliant and explain clearly what happened / caused
the credit crunch.

Leuke site!. Er zijn nog weinig goede sites over dit onderwerp te vinden.
Ben blij met jullie toevoeging!
Ik kan helaas geen bookmark aanmaken naar blog.mises.org in Firefox. :( Weten jullie hoe dit komt?

Groetjes Barbara
