Here’s a gem from the Global Warming crowd
“cooling trend actually illustrates how fast the world is warming.”

Well I was faster with that stuff. Especiall with the “we had no choic” attitude. And Bush is just criminal, obviously covered by something incomprehensible.

And after all, in order to save the republic we can’t be unnecessarily burdened by the Constitution, as one recent president opined, “It’s just a god damned piece of paper!”

Here’s a relevant one: “…the Fed intends to be “the invisible hand” in all financial markets, according to Joel Naroff, president of Naroff Economic Advisors…” [source: http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/Fed-promises-explained-plain-English/story.aspx?guid={755234C6-EDB3-4D7A-B2AC-68A5A9CA8138}]. Who’d thunk it? I thought the Smithian reference was about market entities acting in their own self-interest?

“The devil made me do it.”

Well, in earlier times humans were more superstitious and so they attributed the evil stemming from the baser side of the dual nature of humans to a mythical figure – the devil.

That does not mean this evil does not exist. It means we speak about it in different terms. Ego-driven is a term that describes the same phenomenon.

And so when we see all the corruption and injustices perpetrated by the politicians and then hear their plea for mercy (because ‘the devil made me do it’) when it comes into the daylight, we can verify that assertion. The ego-driven interventionists whisper into the ears of the ego-driven politicians. ‘The devil made me do it’ rings true since both of these sources are lower, baser, depraved, perverted, and devoid of any moral authority.

In fact they have been abolished in the era of classical liberalism that we are approaching. Thank God! They will pass away like a wisp of smoke on a brisk and windy day.
