A favorite quote of mine regarding Bush’s ownership society is from Lew Rockwell’s speech at the Rally for the Republic a few weeks back:
“You got owned.”
ah, wikipedia. what a complete and total waste of such a perfectly reasonable idea. the next time someone questions the relevance of your article edits, be sure to link them directly to any three-page article fully documenting an episode of star trek.

that is a pretty elitist statement. I see wikipedia as a way to get a brief outline of a particular subject, or to check a date or some other objective element. Of course I am not going to take it as the definitive source, nor would I quote it and reference to it. It does often link to primary sources, which can be helpful in researching a subject. What does the fact that people add content relevant to themselves and their peers do to detract from its usefulness to you or others in the anti-Federation camp? If you don’t like Star Trek, don’t enter it into the search bar, but don’t be alarmed if you find internal links to that subject if you look up related topics like phazers or Leonard Nimoy. Wikipedia is plenty big for you and the trekkies. By the way, I had to look up star trek federation in wikipedia in the composition of this post.
The politicians (ego-driven interventionists) re-invent the terminology as they go along. They cannot help but incorporate their lies into the words they use.
I am sure the use of the word ‘ownership’ was tempered by the socialist vision of a Keynesian advisor. Which fits nicely with Lew Rockwell’s summarization: ‘You got owned.’
