In light of the wonderful upgrade of the last few days, I just re-read this article from 2004. Wow, it holds up. Those were the bad old days. Today, on the other hand, is a wonderful day.

Well said Jeff, I’ll drink to that.
I distinctly remember that piece, hard to believe it was that long ago though!
As a Linux geek, I remember when Mises.org transcended Microsoft. By Cromm, that has been a while.
Eliminating graphics is a really good idea, since text is so much more efficiently stored and transmitted.
But … but … esthetics are personal. I prefer what the site looked like last year. Such is life.
With some articles there is still the problem of a zero left margin which is uncomfortable to read. Is there a way to make the format uniform and pleasant to read?
