I believe this book contains a chapter entitled “Pennsylvania’s Anarchist Experiment” or something to that effect.
Does anyone know how the state was ultimately able to regain control of PA? I don’t think that was explained here.
Fred, I believe you are referring to chapter 55 (pp. 402-411) in Volume 1, “‘The Holy Experiment’: The Founding of Pennsylvania, 1681-1690.” Rothbard has a follow-up chapter entitled “Government Returns to Pennsylvania” (Chapter 64, pp. 495-506).
Thanks Chad. I’ll be eagerly awaiting that chapter in audio form. Everyone knows I can’t read.
