ComicMix asks the question.
“My favorite comic book superhero is Baruch Wane, otherwise known as Batman, in The Batman Chronicles. “The Berlin Batman,” #11 in the series by Paul Pope, details Batman’s attempts to rescue the confiscated works of persecuted Austrian economist, Ludwig von Mises, from Nazi Party hands.
“Batman’s assistant Robin writes in the memoirs, “[Mises] was an advocate of individual liberty, free speech, and free thinking… and so, should I add, the Berlin Batman.” Batman, a Jew in hiding in Nazi Austria, was willing to risk his life for the sake of the promulgation of freedom, and I find this to be super-heroic.”

All Super Heroes are libertarians. They all solve problems apart from the state; it’s a great thing. (Working on an essay to that effect…)
Never thought about it, but it´s 100% true. All superheroes are libertarian. As an interesting fact on the side, notice that no matter how difficult the problem at hand is, there is never any official, public servant backing the superhero up. He´s always summoned on demand any never actually asks for any help. That´s why comic books are such great learning tools for kids.
There are exceptions to that rule: Captian America is an obvious one. Also the Green Lantern Corps is effectively the police/military for what is efffectively an intergalactic state(although to be fair Hal Jordan often questions the Guardians Methods, but never seems to be willing to question the existance of the Green Lanterns themselves).
