How long until this is available in PDF? It will definitely be damaging to the Neo-Cons and will certainly be an interesting read. And of course, it is a new book by Rothbard.

So I guess this means that I can no longer claim to have an exclusive copy on my hard drive. That’s unfortunate, but it’s good that it’s finally getting published.

Wonderful. This will be a great weapon against today’s pseudo-conservatives who are taking over the political scene. Much like Hayek’s “why I am not a conservative.”

Should I read this one before or after prof. Gottfried’s new book?

This is SO SWEET. The original “Bush isn’t a real conservative” book. You know what I mean. All those books coming out right such as “Betrayal of the Right” and “Leviathan on the Right.” It’s such a pity that this one though wasn’t released when it was way back when, since if it had been, then it might have stopped some of the onslaught.

I have watched a couple things from “freedom fest” on C Span. i think it was the richard viguerie one I’m not sure, but one of the original goldwater guys was saying that basically before the relgious right ans social conservatives entered the picture conservatives rarely won elections. He copared it to a stool with 2 legs. he said that the third leg that pushed them over the top was getting the social conservatives to buy the old right line on taxes. then they started winning alot more elections. i think they simply went to far in that direction for one. also, the elites in the media didn’t like conservatives, so they let guys like Kristol and Will represent conservatives on tv and the media in general. not surprisingly, that type of conservatism became more dominant. Buchanan has remained because he is press savvy
