Thank you, Mises Institute! I have already placed an order.
Where is One Is a Crowd: Reflections of an Individualist? the 1 Chodorov book I lack in its pre-internet published edition. Chodorov, despite his fixation on Henry George’s single tax on the value of land, was the most consistent & thorough natural law libertarian of the immediate post-second world war era as the infernal cold war was emerging so brilliantly & implacably made the case for all the great old right tropes: isolation, laisser faire capitalism, American founding era republicanism, strict constitutionalism, free trade, state rights, the gold specie system, free banking, anglofobia, anti-corporatism, no peace time standing army, anti-new dealism that tarred Hoover as much as FDR & of course restriction of the police power to concern with criminal acts falling under the rubric of malum in se. His sterling example is a mighty reproach to the crimes of neo-conservatives though personally I would not object additionally to a strong dose of falangism or cromwellianism instead of a Ron Paul presidency just to be sure they know how much they eft up. Frankly some birds do not learn lessons given in languages other than their own no matter how persuasive a figure such as Chodorov is to those of us who actually think sanely, rationally & linearly.
