A Communist Party

May 13, 2006 by

This is what happens when you are drunk on socialism.

But, maybe this is more your style.

It is so cool!! I am using it as an avatar – I just need to add “A Communist Party” as a caption.

The communist graphic should perhaps mention “please don’t let those drinkers take the wheel” for those who don’t want to put too much thinking into it.

The police line thing is quite nice as it is though.

Oh now I see why Karl Marx couldn’t see economic reality….he had a lampshade on his head

It would be funnier if there was a mountain of skulls in the background.

Why don’t they make a Nazi Party T-shirt with Hitler, Goebbels, Eichmann, Goering and Himmler on it? They killed fewer Jews (and people overall) than Stalin and Lenin did, and they were just a smidget less socialist. Hell, Keynes praised the Nazis for their economic planning, so they should be P.C. enough, right?

I wonder how far one could get in the world wearing such a “Nazi Party” T-shirt, although I’m sure at places like Wash U (where I’m from) and Harvard a “communist party” T-shirt is perfectly acceptable. It amazes me how brain dead Americans are about such issues, which goes to show our nation’s historical ignorance.

This t-shirt works on so many levels.

speaking of T-Shirts, why are the vMI’s own T-Shirts only available in one color per “thinker/quote” ? Is that not counterintuitive ?

Brian, good point. Remember when Prince William (or was it Harry) wore that Swastika armband? It didn’t matter how “ironic” he was trying to be. But wear a hammer and sickle on your shirt and you’re alright, except in the offchance you run into some elderly person from Eastern Europe, Russia, Ukraine.

With that said, I wonder how well the Che shirts go over in south Florida?

Sorry Dain, but actually most of the elderly people in Russia and eastern europe, hate their new regiemes and dream back to their communist tyrannies. Although they had to que for hours, they were guarenteed jobs, food and housing, now there is greater poverty and homelessness in the Russian Plutonomy… and even worst for many… they have to work more hours.
