Western Union has stopped sending them. Who knew they were still around?

I guess the Telegram was allowed to go out of business because there were no monied interests lobbying to keep it around.

Hook, the great thing about the market is that you don’t have to lobby for or against things. To determine what gets produced, and in what quantity, you only need to buy or refrain from buying.

What about all those poor unemployed souls who relied on the telegram industry for their livelihood? This obvious market failure proves capitalism is exploitive & evil.
