(AP) — Spring Hill aldermen are facing a decision over whether to go after do-it-yourself enthusiasts who violate an ordinance banning construction work on Sundays.According to city code in this Nashville suburb, no construction work of any kind can be done on Sundays. City Administrator Ken York said he needs direction from the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on whether it is illegal for residents to paint or do other home improvement projects on Sunday.“Can we specify no commercial work on Sundays?” Alderman Miles Johnson said.
Does this signal a return of the anti-market Blue Laws? Kind of an odd mentality for a populace that is supposedly concerned about ‘losing’ jobs and “outsourcing“…

I thought the Torah forbade work on SATURDAY! Maby they should debate the heresy, or is it just the ‘varience’ of Christian belief? I never knew that arbitrary coercion was Blue! I thought it was RED or PINK indeed!
