Actually, anarchy is making an appearance in the NYT (which I read strictly for entertainment value). Their reporters are getting a lot of mileage out of the term to refer to the utter failure of the government to enforce any kind of order in New Orleans. As usual, they make no distinction between the absence of government and the things that fill the vacuum left by the total incompetence of government.
