Price seems a little stiff…shipping, that is.
Very cool. Not quite as cheap after shipping though.
How much is the shipping?
7.27! I got it anyway : )
Of course the shipping is not calculated or charged by Mises but rather by UPS or the government or whatever you choose, but one thing you can do is order 50 copies or add other books etc. It’s all calculated on the margin, so there are ways to economize. But it does make you think: how equilibrated everyone would be in a world without transaction costs! (kidding).
Or, you could attend a summer conference at the Mises Institute and save on s/h. Then the book is $.01.
When will “The Mystery of Banking” be available for purchase? I would forgo many pennies for that one. Reading from a PDF is just not the same.
I too would be interested in purchasing a copy of The Mystery of Banking. I have no problem with spending a bit on books, but $170+ used through Amazon is a bit much.
I picked up this book along with a few others this time last year when it was offered for a penny. It isn’t systematic by any means, but it isn’t meant to be. It’s a very good nighttime read.
As is? There’s a scary phrase…however, I read this in its entirety on a Palm Pilot whilst traveling through Europe. Worth the eye strain! Surely this edition can’t be any worse!
Thank you for this great offer… I will place the order tomorrow… Or today.
