Correspondent Bas Jonker writes: “I came across an interesting new venture in Germany called www.jobdumping.de . Basically it is an Ebay for people who want to work. Employers can post jobs with a salary they are willing to pay and potential employees can bid for the job and undercut each other. Of course, words like ‘slavery’ and ‘exploitation’ from the unions and politicians were heard immediately. The founder of the website, Fabian Low, wanted to do something about the stunning unemployment rate in Germany. Two additional links: 1 2. ”

‘All users are [obliged] to abide by current tax, labor & insurance laws.’ — In other words, it is take-home pay which is being reduced. Govt officials’ mandates on labour on-costs have to be obeyed. So people are forced to have more than they really want of something which officials have decided their subjects must have. The only area people can express their wishes is in take-home pay. In short, families are being forced to put resources _first_ into taxes (including those _called_ ‘insurance’) — & only _afterwards_ into food, clothing, shelter, etc. O munificent Welfare State!
This might be the first instance of a Fabian ever doing something to improve the world.
Job dumping. Yup that describes germany perfectly
