No surprises. Capitalism is defined as “spending”, with a full-court press of “broken window falicy” thrown in for good measure.
Nothing about accumulation of capital for improvement of life, nothing about private ownership. Just a mindless reiteration of THX-1138 “Buy More.”
Is it a parody of what is peddled as capitalism by purported “capitalists” (a.k.a. Republicans), or is it really trying (pitifully) to promote capitalism? I can’t tell.
