Fun with Business Cycles

I just came across InflationDeflation, an add-on to the Monopoly board game that makes things a little more fun, and you can get the download-only version for $3.

The site claims the product, “Revitalizes Monopoly with Economic Cycles, Market Crashes, Terrorists, Conspiracies, Politics”.

Monopoly is a terrible game (as are most US board games), and I don’t this will solve that.

For much better fare, check out boardgamegeek.com.

To keep this on-topic, it’s worth noting that every good game has an economic element, and figuring it out is the key to victory.
