You know you haven’t made a clever joke (qua satirizing your intended target) when someone else can change the names without affecting its content whatsoever.
Daniel, Can you please provide information about who made a clever joke and who changed the names? (I’m not sure if this was the original or the one with changed names.) Thanks.
The same artist has also made a comic called, “If Housepets were Libertarians”. Well, what if they were statists? (Not made by me.) Of course, just comparing humans to pets says a lot about the statist view of humans and society.
Maybe I am blind but I didn’t notice the “Corporate Pig” anywhere. There was mention of the “when i started my small business”. I don’t see any mention of big business…
Actually, this isn’t very funny, at all.
I mean, the art isn’t funny in a slapstick way, the words aren’t funny in a sarcastic way, there are no puns, no contradiction or fallacy…
Really, this is just straightforward data.
Very useful data…I’m going to save it, and use the concept, myself…but it’s just not funny.
This isn’t amusing, it’s not even entertaining.
It’s very insightful, but barely less tedious because it consists of drawings, instead of text. In fact, the cartoon nature of it raises the expectation that it will be more fun…so it actually is less efficacious.
In fact, I may make a formatted list based on the premise of the cartoon, and using its “types” as a starting-point. Hopefully the above is intended as just part of the overall liberty movement, not something so proprietary that this would be objectionable.

I can’t get this to enlarge enough for me to read the print. Even the pop-up after clicking on the photo is too small. Where is the original?

Cartoon of 24 Types of Authoritarians (Lovers Of The State).
They (I guess, you) left out at least two:
Lover of the ego-driven interpreters – (someone like Paul Krugman or Keynes) – “The world is the way they see it. It is, it is, it is.”
Lover of the ego-driven interventionists – (politicians and political bureaucrats of all persuasions) – “They can fix the problem if you just trust them” (and keep the counterfeit operation going).
Huh. So you ripped off another cartoonist’s art and photoshopped in new dialogue. I could care less if a liberal or conservative did this, it’s just sloppy cartooning, shows an utter lack of creativity and is all in all very lame. I mean Christ on a cross, you didn’t even put in your own art! If you want to try your hand at satire, put more than ten minutes’ effort into it.
How much less could you care?
Ahhh…trolls. Where would the internet be without them?
