In working papers , see a full and new translation of Richard Cantillon’s “Essays on the Nature of Commerce” by Chantal Saucier and Mark Thornton. The hope is that it will be published. But first, the translators wanted to release this Beta version to get out the bugs. If you can help, great!

Footnote 23 uses “french” (lowercase ‘f’) twice.
From the few things seen, it looks like a nice translation with a more modern language than the classic. See here for comparison:

Misplaced commas and their consistency in the titling of Chapter 9, cf. pages 4 and 29.
In footnote 55 on page 92, should the company listed as Teco Industries really be Tyco Industries?
Both exist, but I’d never before heard of the former, and the latter sure fits the context of the note.
