Surely that’s not reflective of the opinion of the country as a whole. For one thing, I would think 50% would answer “what’s the Fed?” The people voting in that poll are people who read that article, and probably most people who read that article found it because they are passionate about ending the Fed or because they were linked from a Ron Paul site (or here). It is clearly a very biased sample.
I did vote “yes” though
After this post it’s probably going to hit 90+%.
It is those Ron Paul hackers again. Damn those kids!
After I voted it was at 86%.
BAM!
Well, I’m not surprised the poll says that, because that’s not a scientific poll and mostly people who know what the Fed IS are going to read that article. Most people will answer “?” when asked that question, and I suspect the 86% that it says now would shrink to more like 10% or 20% if it were scientific.
It does show you, perhaps, that once people understand what it is and what it does–they generally do NOT like what they hear.

80% Want To Abolish The FED According To CNBC!
The good news is that 100% of those who read “END THE FED” will want to abolish the Fed.
The second bit of good news is that (according to the increasing ranking of “END THE FED” on the best-sellers list) more and more people are reading “END THE FED.”
It will be recommended to friends and family and copies will be passed around!
Soon the supply of ‘heroin’ to the unConstitutional will be threatened. How bizarre will its behavior become?
No wonder the Patriot Act is being renewed. It is one of their tools against all of the people in this country who want to terminate the disease and addiction and corruption that is associated with the unConstitutional coup.
It’s now at 88%. Okay, I know with what Paul would replace the Fed, but what about the 88%? Let’s not forget that hope springs eternal for a wiser manager of an “elastic” currency.
My Yes vote showed me 89%
I agree it’s unscientific and all, but still, it’s nice to see such unanimity from those who read the article.
At this time, it is over 90%.
