I’m a fan are you?

August 27, 2009 by

After much neglect, the Ludwig von Mises Institute facebook page has undergone major renovations. We have improved the content as well as the layout. Now you can meet other fans, view new articles and media, browse our photos, and meet fellow fans of the institute all in one place!

We have added some great features that we think everyone will enjoy. There is now a “Discussions” section were fans can come together to talk (or argue) about their favorite topics. This is a fantastic outlet for bouncing your ideas off of other and getting feedback.

We are making this page a much higher priority than in the past. We are determined to keep the content fresh and informative.

Be sure to visit our shiny new facebook page and “become a fan,” by doing so, you will ensure that you are a part of the Mises community and are always in the loop.

I’m so glad the page was updated because it wasn’t very good. I was very disappointed.

Dear Jeffery,

I found this smart woman on YouTube who seemed to know a lot about selling books on FaceBook. If you have not already heard of her, now would be a good time

Re: Vanmind’s post, I deactivated my account(s) with facebook, but I am still troubled that they have my account cryogenically frozen: “to reactivate your account, just sign in with your former email and password and begin using it as always.”

Is my data even MORE vulnerable to data mining, now that I will not be actively viewing my account? Will the integral data of my (former) profile be vulnerable, regardless of my profile’s deactivation?
